Here Is How It Operates!

Its mechanism is based on the interference of light. The moment light passes through a coil of optical fibre, it strikes the satellite that causes change. This system proves that FOG are highly passive systems that need light to run on an axis. Even the rotations and movements on angular motion are measured by sending identical laser beams through a fibre-optic coil to respond the navigation system. These laser beams then travel against the direction of rotation that experience slight delay in reaching the other destination. The measuring phase that allows the other laser beam to delay is the reason behind the change in orientation.
